Magical, tidy, and enchanting oasis of tranquility by a stunning lake. The best of all the places I’ve stayed throughout Kerala. Highly recommend staying when visiting Varkala, as the town and beaches are easily accessible (the hotel staff always call a Tuktuk that arrives within 10 minutes), while living in silence and nature, where you can relax from the hustle and bustle. I love the natural surroundings and tranquility, and this place is all about that. There are no ugly buildings or eye-catching details – everything is just as it should be.

It’s easy to let your mind wander and relax here. There’s a tidy shore by the lake with stunning views. There are hammocks and swings, massages and various procedures, and you can refresh yourself in an outdoor shower. Live in small cottages scattered around the area. The staff are friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be back here
